Senior pictures?

Flash back to Senior pictures. It was really awkward to have pictures taken of just me. I get so uncomfortable and usually look like a dork most of the time. Either way, they needed to be done for my portfolio and for my website. What do you think? These are my three favorites. I think I'm only going to use 1 of them...maybe 2.

Things are progressing quite well. I should be done with my business plan in 2 weeks and then hopefully (fingers crossed) I will be able to get the rest of the funding.

I leave tomorrow for quilt market. I'm so excited. I will probably be exhausted when I get back. Maybe I should have my sister stay to help. Its like post pardum recovery...right? Well, not really but I could try that tactic and see where it gets me.

I would love some feedback on what things you would like to see in a fabric shop or what kind of classes would interested you, projects, or ideas. I need ideas from cool people like you!

  1. I like the 3rd picture, but they are all great! I'm excited for your new adventure. I don't know what I would need with a fabric store, but we will certainly walk over to see you.

You look great and your blog is super cool. Who took that picture of your sewing cabinet? Amazing!

  3. My ideal fabric shop? Lots of modern fabrics and a good selection of Kona solids. Kid-friendly...either a dedicated space with some toys or staff that is welcoming of small hands. An area for quilt guilds to meet, for people to sit and take a load off. :)

  8. So much fun and it was great to meet you as well. Jessica is my PIC (partner in crime) and keeps me excited about being creative. Mom = Dianna or as my son-in-law dubbed me Dirty D. Can you imagine?? My kids call me Dirty. Love my kids!! We just may have to do a shop-hop to St. Louis, which is my favorite movie of all time and home of the Cardinals. Ozzie Smith fan here!!
