Here are some pictures of the shop. The kids were with us, naturally. Check out Ollie's shirt. Isn't it hilarious? He is so stinkin' cute. Love that kid.
Voila! The floors. They are incredibly gorgeous. I can't believe how well they turned out.
There is our fireplace. It's not finished obviously but there it is. The painting will start tonight!!!
Looks awesome!!

ReplyDeleteLooking good! Keep up the good work and stay cool if you can!
ReplyDeleteAppreciate the updates re: the progress of the shop. Can hardly wait 'til opening day!
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful, Shannon! Can't wait 'til you open! Do you have an opening date set?
ReplyDeleteWow! I am so excited to hear that you are opening a modern shop! I just completed my first project this past weekend. (It was a very simple table runner, but you have to start somewhere, right?) Anyway, I did my work in Albuquerque with my mom, and used the modern fabric shop there. It's called Hip Stitch and its owner, Suzanne, has family in StL. She was lamenting that there were no modern stores here so she couldn't give me tips on where to shop. But soon I can come bug you! Anyway, from a total novice, I'm really excited about this news. And it sounds like you might be open in time for Christmas projects. Great!
ReplyDeleteSo excited that there will be a fabric shop in Webster!! My husband will not be too happy to hear this though.. ;)
